Hello. I came across your site as I was researching games that shipped with the incorrect game in the package. Last week I acquired Blackguards 2 for PlayStation 4 after it was suddenly delayed and found the reason for the delay is that the disc, while labeled Blackguards 2, actually has the game Dungeons II on it. I did not film myself placing the disc in the PlayStation 4 but I did make an unboxing video since I had the game when I assumed nobody else did. However, I have no idea if anyone else managed to acquire a copy. My unique work grants me access to most game releases straight from a distributor so I didn't go to a store to get it. The distributor likely shipped the game to retailers at the same time they shipped it to my employer. Therefore, retailers probably had it but whether any reached store shelves before Kalypso could recall them I don't know. Even though Kalypso did delay the Xbox One version a week at the same time I acquired that one as well and it works. Kalypso hadn't said anything until Friday when it makes a mention of it in the press release for the UK version which apparently is fine since it did release. A portion of the press release: Not sure why the press release says "as scheduled" indicating that was the date all along. It was in fact 9/12 and only last week just as the game was set the release did it get pushed back. At least that's when I received 9/19 as the new date and when retailers such as GameStop and Amazon.com changed their dates as well.

what you have there is a data error it happens to be my favorite type of misprint and if it was recalled so quickly it's possibly quite rare and quite possibly one of a kind!!! any way you can get some close up pics of the data numbers they should be on the outer edge of the label and on the data side near the center ring. it should start with B4
this happens when the wrong master disc is placed in the printer it get's labeled and packaged as one game but has another it has happened several times. I own these myself Super Street Fighter II (plays the Japanese version) Tony Hawk 2 (plays Action Bass) NHL 2k6 (plays Genji Dawn of the Samauri) Power Drome (plays Good Times Season 5 disc 1) Blast Radius (which plays Street Racer) Raiden Project (plays Killeak DNA Imperative) Resident Evil CVX (disc 1 plays Disc 2) Golden Eye Reloaded (plays Call of Duty World at War)

The number reads B4SS-023300A1. I don't know the front is of any use but that says CUSA-07381.6000765-DVD.

Also the numbers are not on the front of the disc. I checked a couple other games he had and some had it others didn't I don't believe the publisher has announced a new date. I'm also not sure if we'll get it because although it has the wrong game, for my job we really only need the packaging. We scan the front and back cover, then take all of the relevant data from the box and manual if it has one. I like to borrow the games to play and sometimes I use them to take screenshots if the publisher hasn't provided any, though that's more of a perk than a necessity for the work. This is certainly a rare case of getting the wrong game on the disc. It's possible we've received some before as we've been doing this since 1998, though I've only worked on site for 13 years (2000-03 and 2007-current; plus freelance work). I've probably handled thousands of games over the years and I know I've seen spelling errors on packages though I can't recall which, and it's likely you're aware of those. Unfortunately, the company sold our websites awhile ago (our data was at the old www.allgame.com URL), then moved us to our smaller office, and donated our whole music/movie/game archive. Otherwise, I'd have access to a ton of games released since the 32-bit era. We used to be a small company but were acquired by a corporation in 2007 and had a number of name changes and are now TiVo (the DVR company) since we bought them a year ago and took the name. We still donate products to Michigan State University since we don't have a lot of space and if you live near there you can go and play them in-person (at least for the consoles they have on site). According to this we gave them over 17,000 games: www.lib.msu.edu/collections/rovi/ They even made a chart to show how many we gave them for each platform. I wish I could have taken the Dreamcast collection which likely had all of the U.S. releases. About the only thing I could have taken was the magazine collection which were mostly from 2000 on, but I have too many magazines as it is.

It's a shame it's not yours. Would your employer be willing to sell it?1

Would your employer be willing to sell it?1 If it was ever sold nobody outside of the department would know I've probably said too much but there is little reason to donate it to MSU since it's the wrong the game. I'm sure we'll send them the regular Dungeons II anyways. I don't know if you saw the guy on the YouTube comments asking about value. He says he got one from Amazon.com so maybe it's not too rare; they may have sent out a bunch though I also doubt this particular game was pre-ordered by a lot of people. I didn't know what to tell them though because how would I know the value. It's basically what someone is willing to pay but it would help to know just how many were actually sold.
